Although there are many specific products on the market for cleaning silverware, sometimes their results are not satisfactory. Not to mention the risk of exposing our health to the chemical compounds these products are full of.
Fortunately, there are even more effective natural alternatives for cleaning blackened silver and restoring it to its original appearance. Below we list the most effective ones.
Baking:
Bring a little water to the boil, then mix it with baking soda until you have a creamy mixture. Wash the silver item you want to clean with soap and water, then dry it well. Apply the baking soda mixture to the item and scrub it with a toothbrush, being careful not to scratch it. Finally, rinse and dry well.
