Custard Cream Pancake Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Pancakes:
- 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup (180ml) buttermilk (or make your own by adding 1 tablespoon lemon juice or vinegar to milk and letting it sit for 5 minutes)
- 1/4 cup (60ml) milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Custard Cream:
- 1 cup (240ml) milk
- 2 egg yolks
- 1/4 cup (50g) sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon butter
