INGREDIENTS
100 ml (3.5 fluid ounces) milk;
75 g (2.6 ounces) flour;
50 g (1.7 oz) sugar;
6-7 green apples;
2 eggs;
1 lemon (zest and juice);
1 ½ teaspoons baking powder.
METHOD
Preheat the oven to 180C/350F. Grease a cake pan with butter.
Peel, core and slice the apples. Sprinkle apple slices with lemon juice.
Beat the eggs with the sugar until pale and light. Add the lemon zest, flour and baking powder.
