Rich Banana Bread
- Preheat and prepare: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
- Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, mix the melted butter with the mashed bananas. Stir in the sugar, beaten eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Add dry ingredients: Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the banana mixture, stirring just until incorporated. Be careful not to overmix. If desired, fold in the chocolate chips, nuts, or dried fruit.
