Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, yeast and sugar.
- Add the yogurt and warm water and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 10 minutes or until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean cloth, and let it rest in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 230°C (450°F).
- Divide the dough into 8 equal portions.
- Spread each portion into a disk approximately 15cm in diameter.
- Spread grated cheese on half of each disk.
- Fold the discs in half, enclosing the cheese inside.
- Pinch the edges of the discs to seal.
- Heat a frying pan or griddle over medium heat.
- Brush naans with melted butter.
- Cook the naans in the pan or on the griddle for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
- Serve immediately.
